TEASER COMMERCIAL FOR NEW ALPHA YOUTH FILM SERIES

Alpha approached us to create this commercial for their new Youth Film Series, announcing the hosts they had brought in - who are all influencers in the Faith-Based/Christian Media world. This was super exciting, and the nature of Alpha being a global brand, meant the talent was from all over the world. This was a logistical challenge, to get the talent in one place, ahead of shooting the actual film series. So we had one day to capture this commercial, plus social pieces to camera, and social reels - plus it was a hybrid shoot, so working alongside a photographer in a small house. Tricky!

Blackbird worked with director Angus McDonald Butcher to bring together a creative and tone for the entire campaign, including photos. The campaign centres around the ‘dream house’ and encapsulated the feeling of nostalgia that the film series had itself. We shot the commercial in around 5 hours, in what we think is our most efficient and best work yet!
